I also enjoyed spotting old favourites as well as being inspired to check out unfamiliart artists, which is easy since the book very helpfully tells you where you can see the work. Have earmarked this for a couple of Christmas presents and look forward to playing 'name the artist' from the fabulous designs.
Andy Tuohy's pictures are bold, dramatic and really evoke the artist he's portraying, from Dali's moustache to Kahlo's monobrow. I turned straight to my favourite -O'Keeffe. The text is concise - long enough that you actually learn something, but not so much that it's a bit of an effort to get through it all. A ferfect introduction to artists known and new, and vivid images will really capture the attention of the kids.
Great for all ages.
