Yvonne Ventresca’s latest YA psychological thriller, BLACK FLOWERS, WHITE LIES (Sky Pony Press, 2016) won a National IPPY Gold Medal for YA fiction in 2017.
Her debut YA novel, PANDEMIC, won a Crystal Kite Award from the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. In PANDEMIC, a teen struggles to survive not only a deadly outbreak and its real-life consequences, but also her own personal demons. Ventresca's other works includes two nonfiction books and several short stories selected for anthologies such as 30 SHADES OF DEAD, HERO LOST: MYSTERIES OF DEATH AND LIFE, and PREP FOR DOOM.
