Husband and I decided to try the 5:2 diet as my husband needed to loose weight due to hypertension. He's not good at sticking to diets but with the help of this book he is already 1 stone down and his dr is very pleased with him. We both find it so much easier to stick to, we usually get bored with diets and relapse, but not with this. The book explains the theory behind it and also tells you what to do. Worth a try!

This is a great read, much easier to follow that some traditonal diet books. The way it's written makes you almost feel like its advice your best mate has written down for you. I could read kate harrisons books over and over (infact I have), the advice given is also top notch, I have lost 16lbs since following the 5:2 eating plan.

This has to get 5 stars. I've been following thew 5:2 way of eating (it's not a diet!) for just over a year. I love the idea of trying the concept to the rest of my life. Haven't finished going through all the techniques, but I love the Pomodoro technique and I'm using the other ideas throughout my week.

I found the book benefical in ways to help me condition certain daily activities. If you can bring yourself to keep up to the daily tasks, then i am sure this is a good book to follow. When reading the book i did find myself more positive at that time so it can be very useful book.
