Flows flawlessly between the two narratives, Nick in his experimental teenage years and recent times gaining support from kinky friends after the loss of the love of his life.
Many of us who join the scene do so when our life needs and overhaul, we get there sometimes feeling less than brilliant but eager for a fresh start. I think this book outlines beautifully how successfull that decision to get involved in the kink community can be. People are open, welcoming and eager to help others find their way.
This is a wonderful tribute to the people who helped Nicholas through a tough time in his life, and it made me reflect on the people in my life who did the same for me. I think we all have those people in our life who become the kind of friends we'd go that extra mile for, in the kink community when we share the kinds of moments we do with our friends it seems to cement our bonds in a way we may not have experienced before.
I think this is a great read for anyone who is considering joing the scene, people who know nothing about the scene but wonder what the appeal is and for anyone who's ever had great friends. There is just so much for us all to enjot in this book.
Well done Nicholas, another great achievement, I am so pleased to have read your books, they truly are gifts to all that read them.
There is an emotional rawness in Taneks work that relates very well to people who struggle with fitting in and getting through the loss of a loved one.
As a Submissive getting into the Kink Community, it gave me a new perspective on accepting ones quirks.
Reading this helped me embrace myself, that maybe im not so weird. That maybe i dont have to throw myself against the wall everytime someone mistakes me as less of a person.
Dealing with abandonment myself, this book has inspired me to write again.
As for the content of this book, let me say it is better than any 50 Shades of Gay. It has raw and reallife fetishes the are actually relavent to the BDSM community.
I end my review with a satisfaction for a sense of renewal.

What makes You Kinky Friends a true standout is that it's a book about the connections among people. It's the friendships and relationships you make, along with the ability to be yourself. It is definitely a book you want to read and experience. There are not enough words to say how much I truly loved this book. I didn't want it to end and I'll be re-reading more than a few times. It's time's like this I wish there were more than 5-stars. Your Kinky Friends by Nicholas Tanek is a book that you'll need and want to read.
This book takes you on a whirlwind tour of how Nicholas recovered after Lynn's death. He gives us his raw emotions. He writes with purpose. Looking forward to another book from this talented writer.
