With You was a perfect series opener, it literally blew me away. Sculpt/Logan and Emily were such sweet and sexy characters that I just wanted more and more from them. What I got was a huge cliffie and thrown into a dark and seedy underworld. For me, the series opener could have gone either way; dark and full of suspense, courtesy of Torn From You, or into a contemporary romance of plain sailing and a sweet HEA. Call me sick but I'm glad it wasn't the latter. Without knowing the series' dark side though, I could have easily been mislead by With You but thankfully, The Mistress of the Dark aka Luc from Jezabell Girl & Friends was ready to set me straight!!!

I loved “With You” so much, I'm could easily see me going back to re-read it on its own for the simplicity of its storyline without the next stage of Tear Asunder ever being explored.

Every girl wishes to defend herself but Emily wants to more than ever after being attacked one night she wants to learn how to fight back. Bring in Sculpt an illegal fighter and singer in a band. To him Emily is a mouse and now after weeks of showing Emily what to do they have fallen for each other but after being warned off Sculpt as no one knows nothing about him not even his real name. But he is keeping his past just that.
Book leaves on a cliffhanger and will leave you wanting the second book right away

This book was recommended to me by a member of my team and I really was not disappointed.

This is a short read but this you expect from a novella. We meet Emily and Logan, Logan is this hot sexy male that is an MMA fighter and also a rock star it cannot get any better.

This is a start and an insight for things to come and a read that is so highly addictive that it leaves you wanting more.

The writing is fantastic and I cannot wait to read Torn From You.

Fab intro to Sculpt and Mouse. it explains alot about their relationship and how Sculpt feels about her. I read after torn from you as I am glad I did it that way as it added more to the depth to the main book and made me reread it again. Nash is a fab writer and looks set for a great series with the other characters.

“I’m a fighter, Mouse. And I know what I want in life, and I’m not scared to take it. I want you. I’m not walking away from you.”

Books in Tear Asunder series should be read in order:
Part 0.5: With You - Sculpt & Emily
Book 1: Torn from You - Sculpt & Emily
Book 2: Overwhelmed by You - Ream & Kat
Book 3: Shattered by You - Crisis & Haven
Book 4: Kept from You - Killian

Tear Asunder (prequel) opens up to University student Emily McAughtrie, Em aka Mouse and her best friend watching an underground fight for fighter and musician Sculpt aka Logan. After having been attacked on campus she is set on hiring him to teach her self-defense. After the fight she has to use her smarts to get close to him as fans and groupies swarm the elusive and too handsome for his own good Sculpt.

The story goes on to follow them and the romance that blossoms with them spending time together on Em’s self-defense lessons and more. It’s a struggle for her to come into her own and not feel insecure next to Sculpt’s larger-than life fighter and musician persona. What works in their favor is the bond and friendship they formed and Sculpt being set on claiming her. What works against them is Sculpt’s murky past that he remains mum about plus shady people in the sidelines….
“I don’t screw around. No games. You’re into me, so now I’m taking you.”

SCULPT aka Logan: 24 years/Singer/Fighter/Black hair/Black eyes/Tattoo.
Seven words to describe Sculpt aka Logan: Secretive, closed off, elusive, persistent, noble, relentless and sincere.

EMILY MCAUGHTRIE, Em: 20 years/Student/Brown hair
Six words to describe Emily McAughtrie, Em aka Mouse: Insecure, determined, immature, naïve, meek and innocent.

I so loved this little snippet into how Sculpt and Eme met.
Sculpt's past is a big mystery, he doesnt talk about it and doesnt use his real name.
Emily has had some hard knocks growing up, she has a bitch of a mother constantly reminding her how she ruined her life, how ugly she is. how stupid ect, then the lose of her father who she adored to cancer, she has only her best friend Kat and her brother Matt who took her in after her dad passed.

Emily and Sculpt's relationship grows quickly over Emily's self defense lessons from Sculpt, Sculpt finds himself falling very hard for Emily, he learns her hope and dreams and shares his dreams of touring with his band. I totally loved how Sculpt would call Emily out on her `lego building' setting up walls so he couldnt see the girl inside.

The ending of the book leaves you breathless, Sculpt and Emily are all loved up things are going good for them, then geezus bam this event happens and your screaming NO!!!!

Nashoda gave me this book to read along side Torn from you the follow up to this novella, and im so glad i got to read it. The way Nashoda writes pulls you into the story and has you so invested in the characters, you feel all there emotions as if they were your own. If the book cover alone does not pull you in the story will, fantastic i just loved it.
