This album is a wonderful collection of crazy tunes, with spaced out moments, melodic moments and moments of pure bliss. Anyone from north wales should have there hearts tickled by the honesty here, all analog magic recording that sounds like nothing else but also so close to the soul. Wonderful, no one should be without this Welsh classic. What other album brings a 2000 year old celtic village to life, the rain dripping from a medieval burial tomb for an intro and celebrates the brickworks of porthwen. And the boy did see Jesus. Wonderful. Even a Super Furry on board, with other stars adding to this surreal classic.

this is far from the lowest of the low of welsh music, this is great experimental music, just not in the typical style of what the guest artists normally produce. its ashame that the reviewer before me fails to see the quality in the recording. This album is great for long hazy days.

I bought this because some members of Gorky's and the Super Furry Animals were involved. Both bands manage to cram interesting experiments into focused pop songs. It appears that they may have had a limited input to this album as this is one of the most indulgent pieces of music since ELP parted company. It's just seems to me to be a few random noises thrown together while everyone was having a laugh round a mates house. I just can't work out what the point is. I like music that is different and breaks the rules but my ears are not advanced enough to get this. You wouldn't have thought Welsh music could get any lower than the Stereophonics, but this has managed it.
