This is a pretty old recording from Chicago in 1987 re-released with a couple of tracks from a 12" single but if you like Industrial music this deserves to be heard. Considering how long ago this was recorded the sound quality of this release is excellent.
The RevCo lineup on this reads like a who's who of early Industrial - Al Jourgensen, Paul Barker, Chris Connelly, Bill Reiflin, Luc Van Acker and the impressively named Gina Tubetop! The music covers pretty similar territory to Land Of Rape And Honey period Ministry - jackhammer riffs, pounding, rythmic drums, distorted vocals, strange keyboard effects and samples - but the quality of the music is undenyable.
The album opens with a wall of feedback which eventually segues into the powerful Cattle Grind and away the band go, ploughing through a series of early classics. Highlights include superb live versions of We Shall Cleanse The World and 38, and Union Carbide is just plain Al Jourgensen weird, but the real stand-out tracks are the two that close the album proper - Attack Ships On Fire, complete with an extended drum intro and No Devotion. Fantastic.
The two extra tracks were recorded in either Glasgow or Texas (both are credited on different bits of the packaging) and include a run through of Stainless Steel Providers, a track written slightly later than the rest here plus a wonderfully ragged cover of P.I.L.
Anyone who likes the work of Al Jourgensen in his many guises will enjoy this re-release immensely.

HASH(0x9435bbf4) out of 5 stars pretty good as live albums go.... 19 May 2005
By J. Brady - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This set is more or less RevCo's debut album performed live. It betters the studio recordings in that the performances sound looser, and the mix itself has more bottom end to it. Tagged onto the end of the second disc are a pair of live bonus tracks taken from the b-sides of singles. The highlight is their cover of "Public Image", where they manage to taunt the crowd with a few bars of Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin songs before tearing into a savage but surprisingly faithful rendition of PiL's first single. Great fun.

HASH(0x9435d78c) out of 5 stars Expands on "Big Sexy Land" 21 Jan. 2010
By Chad Wilkison - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This live setting is where the songs from "Big Sexy Land" flourish. It's just a fun 1980'a industrial album. If you still have a VCR, do yourself a favour and seek out the live tape of this show (same name as the album). Hopefully that will see a DVD release some day. This is not only a great live industrial album, but a great live album all around.
