Some parts of the book were good but some parts had me wondering if I could be bothered to read the rest of it. Didn't like the language. This book had a lot of sibling angst but ended up feeling like The Waltons. That being said, I enjoyed it enough to finish reading it but not enough to buy other books by this author.

The storyline to this book could've be potentially and bestselling story. But with rush chapters and a lot of unnecessary paragraphs I just had to force myself to read this but it was painful. I didn't like a lot of the characters and the ending was so disappointing I wish I put this down after the first few pages like I wanted to.

I started reading this book later on in the evening, BIG mistake I had to force myself to put it down to go to sleep then that night I was dreaming about the characters. I had to go to work the next day but all I could think about was getting back to this book. As you can see I really enjoyed reading it, I loved the characters and enjoyed getting lost in the story line.
The only thing that upset me is when I got to the end I really wanted more but this isn't the fact that Rue's story wasn't fulfilled but more to do with the other characters I would love to read more about them and hoping some day the author will write more from this series.

Unpleasant book about unpleasant people. Read several chapters then skimmed through to end. Every cliche utilised, poor but honest girl thrown to the wolves. Nasty brother schemes to bring newly discoverd half sister down .by getting best friend to seduce a dump her. Secretly gay brother wants tp protect her. I guess this rubbish makes money for the author it must do I suppose. I suspect she could write something worth reading if she chose. This book is not worth it .

Interesting read. To be confronted by two brothers, the day before your 21st birthday with all manner of accusations. To find out that they are related.
The idea of being a nobody one day and mega rich the next, and all that it entaiis. Being pursued, hounded not being able to do anything, without it being head lines.
Pleasant read some nice touches readable.

Story simple and easy to follow but rues character was all over the place. She came across easy and mindless, when in the beginning she was sweet and sincere.
The other characters were OK but needed more development.
Story was OK but missed something and it was patchy in places.
There wasn't so much romance and I think the author missed a trick when she laid out a plot, rushed it then didn't build up the romance between Alec and rue. Jack did after all ask Alec to break rues heart but why would he do that?
OK read but a bit disappointed as it was there but not executed well.

I enjoyed this book, it's been on my kindle for a while and I finally got round to reading it.
It's an easy read and a good plot.
I would have liked follow up stories about Jack and Sean. Jack has a lot to offer and I feel that he came across as a bit of a bully but there is a heart in there somewhere. Sean is just adorable, I would like to read about him getting his happy ever after. So Ms Hopkins two follow ups to think about.

Picked this book up randomly and have to say I really enjoyed it.

I wanted to smack Jack, hug Sean & really I swooned over Alec. Love Rue and her feistiness & of course Jenna. We all need friends.

Great story. Great character development. Recommended
