Roger has a great way with words and though his world travel experience has some great stories to explain the points well. I have all his programs and would recommend his work to anyone.
As he is an ex-Brit he also has some interesting points of view from a cultural perspective that some other speakers/authors lack.

I bought this book years ago and still use the many lessons today in my business and everyday life. Whether you are haggling at a garage sale, buying a used car, or negotiating a business contract, the lessons learned in this book really stick.

I really like the way the book broke down negotiation tactics into detailed descriptions of how they work. Roger Dawson gives each one a memorable name and a humorous illustration that helps you remember each one (my favorite was the "hot potato")

I didn't get a full 5 stars only because I reserve that for books that totally rock my world. Having said that, this book is one I've remembered for years and highly recommend.

If you are interested in learning negotiation skills quickly and easily in terms that the layman can understand, this is the book for you.

I have found this book really useful and easy to understand, and more importantly, to apply practical negotiating principles to every day situations. Want it or not, no matter what your occupation or agenda be on life, you need to negotiate your way on a day by day basis. This book teaches you smart ways for doing it and enjoying the process at the same time.
