ENJOY EVERYTHING! That's Yotsuba's motto! In this Eisner-nominated series, a little green haired girl delights in enjoying the things that the rest of us tend to take for granted. A perfect series for kids and parents to read together

Remarkable, nine issues so far and no sign of fatigue. Kiyohiko Azuma is a gentle genius in his portrayal of the somewhat quirky people that surround
Yotsuba, of course, Yotsuba herself is far from "normal".
Reading these has made me remember the mavelous madness that is childhood, all the games and how every single day is fantastic.
Simple things, such as stomping your rainboots in a puddle, dining out or finding a piece of corrugated cardboard can be utterly remarkable and very funny. And big things, such as finding the right berry gair (teddy bear, for the uninitiated) will make a day complete and happy.
Each and every book of this series has been a delight - wholeheartedly recommended.

With that being said, it's still really fun and enjoyable, with extreme emphasis on lighthearted. I've bought all nine volumes, and plan on seeing it through to the end, if it ever does, so the author's certainly doing something right. I'd even enjoy watching this transferred to an anime series, if it was handled as amazingly well as Azumanga Daioh: The Complete.
I've in the past, to make room culled my manga collection down, but a hard and fast rule about my collection is no matter what, the Yotsuba volumes will not be leaving my collection, no matter what. Any other series is fair game. I can grab any of the 9 current volumes and read and that day will be just a little bit brighter due to the wonder at life that Yotsuba experiences.
book was in good condition, which I loved as well
