The York Perform multi gym is a quality mid-range machine with 100kg (220lbs) weight stack, designed to offer you a safe and versatile workout. It offers a maximum resistance of 100kg (220lbs) on all its workout stations among which you can find chest press, peck deck, leg extension, arm curl, low rowing position and lat pull. A smooth workout has been ensured due to sealed bearings that prevent pulling or sticking while the translucent weight stack shroud and Y-frame design provide enhanced stability and support. Separate press and pec arms of the multigym enable you to perform each exercise without leaving your seat as there is no need for mechanism changes.

As far as the gym itself is concerned, we looked at a lot, and this is by far the best overall. It's solid, versatile, and also has the smallest footprint of any that we looked at. No exceptions. It also has more weight (100kg) than all others we have seen. Value for money.
I would have given it four stars, as it sits in the corner in a nice compact manner and does largely what it is supposed to. However, I have taken off another star because it was a self-assembly nightmare. I know some of the reviews say it is not too bad as the nuts and bolts come packaged in the order you need them, divided up into units corresponding to the 16 steps on the instructions. So it could have been a lot worse, but there were still places where I went wrong because the instructions are a set of diagrams with virtually no accompanying text and I did not always find them easy to follow. Some of the other reviews have said it takes 6 - 8 hours to put together, and this roughly what I found. I may have taken longer than this, as I made a few errors and had to repeat those steps. I never have 8 hours free time available in one go so it took me quite a few evenings to complete it, during which time I grew to really hate the process. Unfortunately there is no way round this. Although most of the components fitted together well, there were a couple of pieces which did not measure up perfectly and involved quite a struggle to get the holes aligned. Be prepared for this.
