I would recommend these to anyone looking for weight equipment on a budget. Well made, easy thread and rubber grommets to stop the spinlock from coming undone

I bought this as I lost my other one whilst moving house. If you work out at home these are brilliant as you can. Load them up with two 10kg dumbbells, which is enough for most people.
The spin locks are brilliant and really tight, you won't have to worry about the weights dropping off the end. For the price these are a really well made dumbbell bar and are on par with the kind of quality you would expect to find in a gym.
Well recommended

This Dumbell bar has a few good points.

It does not rust and the dimpled bar provides good grip. Changing the weights is quick and needs no tools.

However the knurled weight retainers are inclined to unscrew with use and the weights then come loose and start rocking about on the bar.

But it is not a big problem and on the whole I am happy with my purchase.

Buy two of these and then add some weights from your existing set and jump from one routine to next, without having to stop to change over the weights. Well made and no grease or rough finish like some earlier reviewers mentioned.

Simple + good. I've got lots of sets. Obviously, buy £5 leather weightlifting gloves for which these thin bars are designed. Without the extra rubber washers, the nuts on these things keep working loose. So these were an improvement on my others.

I sent for these dumbbell handles as the one's i had(York)having rubber handles, the handles themselves started to disintegrate.
However, these new handles(York)are thinner to hold(no rubber handle)which at first seems strange, and with weight added they don't feel as comfortable, but with time you get used.
So,the bars themselves,as you expect, metal bas, machine turned, with spin locks(metal)these by the way have a knack of keep turning themselves loose while performing a movement even though they have a rubber seal to grip disc.
Annoying but again this can be remedied, overall what you'd expect 7/10.

Really nice dumbbell bar. Has the metal spinlocks, unlike others that have a cheap plastic versions. Occasionally come loose but that's to be expected. The metal grip feels ok. Can hold a lot of weight. I use it for 55 lb weights.

Sturdy product, can fit 6 individual weights (I have proiron weight plates, don't know how much would fit if vinyl plates / other brands are used). Decent weight to the bar itself. It arrived without any delays and the seller gave regular updates on delivery status.
