I use them normally with Yongnuo-YN-622C-Wireless-TTL-Flash-Trigger, and I have done some experiments to satisfy myself they were working correctly in ETTL. I set up my 2 568's 90' to a subject and divided them into group A and B on the camera Hot shoe with the 622TX. Both flashes respond to any changes.
I fired off some test shots and initially noticed some difference in exposure left to right, I swapped flashes as I thought one might be putting out more light than the other, I swapped flashes and found the same. What was happening was the light was bouncing off a surface and making an effect in the ETTL setting, amazing really, once I removed this the exposures were spot on A and B.
I do like the audible tones on these flashes to let you know, that the exposure was correct and secondly when its charged.
If you have them in a soft box its a great benefit.
Batteries last well, I use eneloops, not actually had them on a job and flattened them yet but I always charge fully before each use.
Not tried much HSS yet, but I am sure they will be ok, although thats what separates the proper flashes from the junk.
A very worthwhile purchase and you will not be disappointed with this.
They work extremely well and sync speed on fast shutter shots is amazing.
I currently have them mounted on Yongnuo YN-622C II transceivers being controlled by a YN622C-TX. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
I don't own any Canon flashes so can only compare them to what I have been using this last few years. These are miles ahead of my old ones.
However a very good flash gun, with extensive functions and control options. Great value.
This is a great flash, I have a Canon 760d and work with all features of this unit. Great!
