Product description

The present book is an attempt to expound the metaphysics of the Yogacara school of Buddhism and to analyse its logical implications. The author has taken considerable pains to present a complete picture of the system, to collect the scattered details into a coherent picture and to size it up, not merely as a phase of Buddhism, but rather as an original and constructive philosophy. In the exposition of the system he has argued that Yogacara is not merely an idealism but a synthesis of idealism and absolutism.
