I am a high handicapper golfer and was never bothered about doing exercise before playing golf because it as not strenuous enough. However I have found that after a round my lower back is always stiff. After reading this great book I know that I have found the cure for this ailment.

More a pamphlet than a book, and I wish I'd read all available reviews before purchasing (as I wouldn't have). Surely pictures are vital to fully communicate the correct message?!!

1.0 out of 5 stars A very simple perspective 25 April 2013

My greatest criticism of this booklet ( it is too short to be called a book) is the lack of pictures. Good yoga poses need to be done correctly to reap the proper benefits and word pictures are not enough. Either photos or diagrammatic figures should be shown of the represented poses.

This booklet is worth no more (and maybe less) than the $0.99 I paid for it. But the premise of yoga helping golf and fitness is priceless.
4.0 out of 5 stars This book should definitely help my golf game... 13 April 2013

I started playing golf for the first time about 5 years ago,
and try to get out to play at least a 2-3 times a month...

While nobody would ever confuse me as pro player, I think that
I'm a better player than most other golfers I've come across thus far.

Since the yoga techniques and exercises cited in this book are
effectively used by many professional golfers, I'm hoping that this book will
help me improve my game, in addition to enabling me to be more
mentally relaxed while out on the links...

Among the most awesome features of this book, is that Ernie (the author) provides
some helpful tips/apps that will allow you to read the book on your smartphone...

Overall, I think this is a pretty cool book that is packed with a lot of useful
yoga exercises... it's well worth reading if you're serious about getting a
competitive edge in golf...
5.0 out of 5 stars I Lowered My Score - Big Time 12 April 2013

My game seemed to be falling apart and I needed improvement quick for a fundraiser golf tournament I was going to play. Living in warm climate year round affords me the opportunity to play anytime. I faithfully followed the directions in this book for a week and a half, and - WOW, what a difference it made. The author wasn't kidding about "seeing and feeling the exhilarating difference." My group won the tournament and I was the dominate contributor. The author doesn't miss a thing when it comes to improving your golf game using Yoga and the other additional tips. Yoga works!
5.0 out of 5 stars If you are serious about your golf game get this book! 3 April 2013

I had never made the connection of yoga for golf fitness before but I sure
can see how it could make a big difference for serious golfers now.

Great guide worth reading and hanging onto to help you get that "edge"
for your game.

Of course, I don't think all the yoga in the world would help MY golf game
but I'm certain it would make me feel much better about being such a lousy
golfer. lol

I'm going to take some of the advice and put it to good use. You should too!
And maybe I'll see you on the golf course doing yoga soon.

Golf requires strength, mental toughness, and focus. Yoga for Golf exposes one to all of these elements which will enhance your golf game. Your core muscular strength is extremely important in your golf swing and Yoga for Golf Fitness exposes us to a number of yoga poses that will enhance your core muscle strength and also help with balance. I believe that this type of training would be instrumental in enhancing your golf swing and mental preparedness required of any serious golfer.
