Each chapter is broken down into areas of the body you need to develop for cycling: Leg & Hips, Upper Body, Back, and Core.
Within each chapter the author gives a thorough overview on the importance of stretching and strengthening and how this will help with cycling. You're then provided with full explanations and colour photos of each position - trust me if you've never done Yoga before this book makes it all perfectly clear on what you should, and shouldn't, be doing.
There is also an excellent chapter called Cyclists' Power Yoga which will help create lean, powerful and pliable muscle - cyclists don't want bulk when climbing those gradients!
You'll also find some excellent sections on recovery, breathing, and mental training. The book really does provide an holistic approach to cycling and I've seen my flexibility and strength improve vastly over the last couple of months. In that short space of time I find I can go longer, deeper and faster on a ride than I had done before as well as being more comfortable on the bike. TIP: when you get back from a ride forego the shower for 20 minutes and do the post-ride stretches, your body will thank you for it and you'll be able to hit the road again the next day feeling much fresher.
Get this book! You won't regret it.
The sections on mindset and breathing are well thought out, allowing the reader to take a holistic view of yoga for cyclists. Finally, printed on quality paper; I think it'll last longer than a cheaper impression.
