The mat arrives in it's own sealed bag, the thickness is 6mm thick, foil on one side and light blue on the other, the dimension is 1800mm x 500mm, it is light weight , and the strap are not too bad - can be rolled for storage.
Overall a good price for first- time campers, and with free amazon delivery this is very good value- it may not be the best for mount everest conditions, but for any little campers, this will do fine for the price - would recommend - great price!

an ok product. keeps the cold away when on outside ground, and offers padding providing a better sleep. however build quality is not amazing. the clips that hold the straps on did not last a second, but possibly are not necessary as the product works fine without them.

Purchased for festival and it did what it needed to do, was slightly thinner than I'd expected but would recommend to friends if looking for a cheap camping mat.

Brought this for my son, as he was going camping with the cubs, and he really was really pleased at how warm it kept him from underneath. H's going away again soon and will use it again. I just put my hand on it and I could really feel the heat radiate back.

Been using this now for several years, pretty good at keeping the cold of the ground away from you. Not as comfy as an air filled mat or air bed but sufficient for most conditions, do make sure you choose a location relatively flat and without any stones or hard bumps though as you will feel them.

Purpose:
During camping a major source of heat loss is from the ground, as such a mat provides insulation between the camper and the ground, the addition of a foil improves the performance of a standard foam mat.

Pros:
Cheap
Light
Compact (I wrap mine around the tent)

Cons:
Easily damaged
Not as comfy as an air filled mattress

Okay, let me first start by saying I found this for £3 elsewhere, but had to review this to make sure it gets the facts down straight.

If you looking for heat keeper only...get it.
If your looking for comfort...dont get it.

Pro's: lightweight, compacts and keeps heat. I camped this weekend in brecon and it was minus 5, and the difference in heat from the tent floor compared to the roll mat at 4 in the morning was extreemly good. But I didnt sleep a wink. I have a 4 season sleeping bag on top of this, and It was just awful. I could feel every stone, ridge and pebble in the world underneath me and I couldnt sleep at all.

If your looking for comfortability and heat, combine this with a portable air bed and pillow with a nice thick sleeping bag, and your sorted.

For a fiver you can't ask for me, very lightweight, easy to strap to a backpack and it is comfortable for how thin it is. Good quality product

Terribly thin and was used off and on for no more than 20 to 30 days and ripped.... Save your money and invest in something more durable
