I have been weight training for about 1 year now with 2 mates and whilst making gains had little knowledge about lifting, nutrition etc. I heard great things about mike matthews and bought BIGGER LEANER STRONGER which is an amazing book and gave me everything i needed to work out properly. One thing i lacked was suructure. This book is amazing it gives you 1 yr of training to give your whole body a workout. Every day you know what your doing and note down what weights, reps you do etc. You can then track strength gains and size if you want as time goes on. Before you buy this book though you must get BIGGER LEANER STRONGER (no i dont work for him) as you need the principles and knowledge he passes on.

Great book go and get it.

This book is the perfect companion to "Bigger, Leaner, Stronger" and includes a detailed workout program stretching over the course of a full year. You don't have to look any further for the perfectly balanced routine, this program has everything you need for a full body workout, week after week, with variation. All your workout days are written down in detail with exercises, rep ranges, and even suggestions for which days you might include cardio. The book is set up so that you always know what to do and when, and the pages are ready for you to plot down your numbers for each workout and easily track your progress. On top of that you'll find some healthy recipes too, to help you balance your meals.
All in all, it's the perfect gym companion for when you're ready to get serious with your workouts and aim for the body of your dreams.

As a supplement to Bigger, leaner, Stronger, I highly recommend this book. It lays out in great details all of the workouts you need to follow for a full year. If you follow this and ensure your nutrition is correct then I am sure you will see results.

A fantastic book for organising workouts, the only weakness is that 5 times a week is one time more a week than I can commit, have switched to four time a week program.
