The bike is great and does everything I wanted it too. It's very easy to use the computer system and is very easy to adjust the seat to each of us. In fact one of the easiest I've found to adjust.
Not sure what the previous reviewer on about but the resistant is great on ours and easy to pedal, etc
You don't get a numb botty from the seat it's very padded. AND no plugging in which is FAB, you pedal to start the computer - perfick. AND it takes over 23 stone, so for those that are heavier and not wanting to go to the gym, etc yet. It's great for cardio workout in front of the telly .

Not very well designed in my opinion the ergonomics are all wrong, unless I'm a funny shape. If I have the seat at the right hight its hard to get on & off. The adjustments for the resistance aren't very good, its either too hard or hardly none at all. I'd strongly recomend you try before you buy. One thing I will say its very well made in terms of easy to put togeather and very sturdy machine it should last well, good qualty materials used in its construction.

I took a long time to decide which exercise bike to buy. Took the advice from the physiotherapists I work with. I have not been disappointed. The bike arrived in quick time and apart from a couple of small parts needing to be replaced, was easy to put together. I could have done it by myself if it wasn't so heavy; I needed help to get it out of the box and put the base together. I bought the bike to help with a dodgy knee and to get fitter. Both objectives are being achieved. I am 66 years old and on the heavy side of tubby but the bike is coping well with the weight it is having to carry. I couldn't ask for more. I'm even enjoying my workouts. I watch the cycle racing on tele while I work and have won several races in Europe over the last few weeks!! In my dreams!

I wanted a low tech, exceedingly simple exercise bike, no mains needed and chose a York Perform 220 Exercise Bike from Sweatband which had to be shipped to Europe. When it arrived and was assembled the pedals wouldn't turn. It was returned to the UK (at my expense) padded and crated where, despite weeks of pre-arrival notice and constant reminders via the supplier, it took weeks for the York "engineer" to inspect it. He left a message with the transport company, but no written report of any kind, that he had fixed a problem with the pedals. The bike was returned to me (padded and crated). It still does not work. Amazon reviews range from "self-power generating" to "needs mains". The bike comes without a mains cable (although it has allowance for one) and no reference to a mains cable in the manual. With or without a mains cable and recharged batteries it still does not work. The pedals now turn but there is no resistance and no power is generated to light the monitor. It has been cosseted and coddled and never once used but is already corroding and rusted. I would avoid York products.

Excellent delivery time.
Bike easy to put together.
Proportions of cycle not as good as some as distance between saddle and handlebars rather short.
Computer not as good and as straight-forward as some other makes.
Instructions for using the computer very, very poor as some of the steps needed are left out so much experimentation is needed to get things to work to ones liking.

Recently purchased. Assembly fine, apart from the fact that the multicable lead down the handlebar column was preinstalled the wrong way round. Took 20min to sort.

Seems to work well. I bought a York Anniversary C201 2 years ago and it didn't last long, so we hope.
