Product description

Review

'Tom Warner s work is underpinned by a tough sense of England and its politics. But it is also open to wider worlds. Warner s is a warm, compassionate and very welcome poetry.'
; Alison Brackenbury 'The most traditional of the Faber New Poets, Warner is also the most nuanced and attentive. His unshowy lyrics invariably crystallize around an insight; a moment of laser-beam lucidity.' --Sarah Crown, Poetry Review.

About the Author

Tom was born in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, but now lives in Norwich. In 2009-2010, he was Poet in residence to Newark, Nottinghamshire, as part of the Poetry-on-Trent project, supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. In preparation for the project, Tom paddled 170 miles down the length of the River Trent in an open canoe.
