The holder itself is perfect - 100%. Padded all-round, adjustable, quick- release. I adjust it off to the right, so it's not diging in to my spine as I run. Holder & bottle is slightly tilted to the right anyway, so makes it easier to pull out your bottle. Holds the bottle snug in the pouch. So don't worry, it won't ever fall out.
Two zipped compartments either side that easily holds your phone/MP3 player, keys/money (even the massive Samsung Galaxy S2 fits). Keeps your water relatively cool with the padding too. The bottle is big, holds plenty of water for long journeys.
I'm knocking off one star for 2 reasons -
1)the drinking cap on top, is a standard pull up/push down type, and is a very very tight fit. Even with the use I've given it, it's still very tight. Be prepared to use your back teeth a lot to open it. It could be just my bottle though, not saying its all them.
2) It's a pity the belt isn't slightly elasticated. It would be easier to get a good fit.
The bottle bobs back and forth against your back if the belt is not really tight.
But its well worth the money. Buy it!
EDIT - May 2012: Top cap eventually loosened. Not as hard to open the top with my teeth now. Took a while though.
As for the bottle bobbing against my back, some sticky foam at the base of the holder against my back sorted that.
Its very comfortable to wear, and with its mesh body sides wont let you feel hot while out on a hot day. Its taken me a long time to find something like this so well done to the person/s who designed it.
Really pleased with the quality and fit of the item. Both waist straps are adjustable so you can offset the central position if required. with mesh sides to dissipate heat
Comfortable padded back, fits really snugly without bumping about.
Two zipped slide pockets for phone and keys etc., the one for keys has a clip on a short strap to secure the keyring.
Very lightweight item.
On mine, the bottle top fits snugly but can easily be pulled up to open.
Much better than the old Hilly belt.
We've since bought a new belt with far smaller bottles and we've had far greater success.
I have just returned from my first run with this product, and have fished out my old running belt from the bin and chucked it into the washing machine. I'd rather use the old one, with its dodgy zip that means I may or may not get my iPhone and key back out without having to cut it.
Firstly, it DOES bounce. As a woman, I have to tighten the belt to my waist. If there were some way to keep it tightly on my hips without it riding up to my waist, it would be much better. In my case, it's on my waist and the bottle just bounces up and down the entire time of the run. And it's not a small bottle. That's a loooooong 10K. And I have to say, my lower back is quite sore from all the banging from the bottle. Which was almost still FULL after the run, as I could barely get any water out of it. It's got a cheap top, which doesn't stay open. So I would struggle to get the bottle out of the holder, pop up the top, lift it to my lips, and as I took the first drink, my lips just touching it, would cause the top to slide back down on itself and close up. It was torture. At the end of the run I just unscrewed the top and drank that way. Not a good product. The only positive is that it has two decent-sized pockets that actually fit an iPhone and even a pack of tissues.

Used it on a recent walking holiday in Wales. Comfortable and easy to access the bottle.Published 9 days ago by C. Povey
Great product lightweight barely notice you're wearing it even with a full bottle. Would recommend getting a higher quality bottle as plastic is flimsy but it's good enough. Read morePublished 1 month ago by James Raine
