I am definitely a Sony fanboy however I do enjoy the Microsoft exclusives that I would miss out on (Halo, Gears of War, Forza etc) so buying this relatively cheap system was a no brainier.
This system is very good value for money being £200 and coupled with gamepass means you can enjoy hundreds of free games (some AAA titles) on day one of release such as Call of duty, Indiana jones etc.
This system is digital only which didn’t bother me but the only gripe is it only has 512GB memory so you have to manage your space or delete and redownload games if you run out of space. The upgraded memory is expensive if you feel you need more.
This system is capable of all the same things as the Series X but with very little downgrade of graphics, i couldn’t really notice much of a difference side by side.
System is much smaller than the other consoles and is well built, quiet and doesn’t run hot after hours of gameplay. Comes with one standard controller and the cables.
Would definitely recommend this little machine if your on the fence of getting an Xbox and doesn’t want to spend £400 on the Series X or the PS5.

The Xbox series S is a great little machine, especially if you have a game pass subscription.It's essentially a pared-down version of the Xbox series X but at almost half the price.It's a digital only console meaning there's no disc drive here, so please be mindful that all games will have to be purchased digitally.The Series S will play all Xbox titles but at a lower resolution missing some of the bells and whistles (graphically) that you would get with the series X.The Console comes with a controller, a lengthy, high quality HDMI cable and power cables.The box has security tabs which are near impossible to remove without damaging the outer box. Something to be mindful off if you ever plan to resell the console.The controller included is great but sadly, it's powered by AA batteries (2 x included). I would highly recommend picking up some rechargable batteries, such as Eneloop by Panasonic. You should get approximately 40 hours of charge out of the AAs.I hope this was helpful!
