Quite simply, after using this cable, using the composite that ships with the xbox 360 is not an option. The colours jump out at you now, and the picture sharpness improves tenfold. An absolute must buy for anyone like me who cant afford an HDTV, but wants the best picture possible.

If you do not own an HDTV you will probably have been a little disappointed by the graphics of the Xbox 360 on a standard definition TV. This was after all supposed to be a next gen console and after forking out £279.99/£199.99 you may have felt a little ripped off. So, if you dont have an HDTV this cable is a must have buy this cable the difference it makes is absolutly huge. The picture is much sharper and text in games is clearer, the colours more vibrant. This cable makes the console have much more of a Next gen feel and it is singly one of the best accesories you could buy for your 360. Well I know it would be a lot better to pay just £17.99 than £400-£1000 for an HDTV especially after just paying £279.99/£199.99 for your console depending on what pack you bought. So this cable is a must have if you do not own an HDTV. Excellent.

Essential piece of kit for non-HD televisions.

As I always do, I purchased a RGB Scart Cable before the console itself. If you don't have a Component or VGA input on your tele this is the best picture you're going to get. Switching between this and the Composite Cable which ships with the console you will definitely notice the difference. Graphics are much more defined and colours don't suffer from the "washed out" look. It really is a shame that in Europe (where nearly every TV has a Scart input) game companies are still not shipping RGB Scart cables with their consoles. Therefore, gamers are forced to shell out more just to get a decent picture. I suppose they do this to squeeze as much money as possible out of the customer.
Still, an excellent cable!

Xbox 360 scart cable- gives HDTV a run for its money

If, like me and about 90% of people who don't have HDTV, you feel let down by the xbox 360's standard TV graphics, then worry no more. I bought this cable cheap off a certain auction site, and I think the graphics have improved by no bounds. Colours appear more vibrant, edges are a lot sharper and for once I can actually read the little text at the beginning of PGR3 and Crackdown (xbox causes flickering... etc.). As for DVDs, with this cable you can chuck out your old DVD player as this brings up the XBox 360's quality to the crisp, clear DVD standard. Paired with the media remote, this makes the Xbox 360 a complete home entertainment system for SDTV viewers.

For anyone with a RGB input on their tv this is an strongly recommended purchase.The difference this has made to the picture quality on my tv is excellent.I was initally disappointed with the graphics my 360 was producing especially for a next gen console but when i got my Advanced cable it made everything look alot better.I was even contemplating on purchasing a HD tv but i said before i fork out so much money on one id get this cable and see if things improve much.
I have to say i am extremely happy with my purhase everything looks so much sharper and the colours look alot more vibrant.PGR3 is now looking the way it should ,racing around the las vegas circuts now seem more exciting as the backrounds and cars show up so much better.One thing that has vastly improved is the text in games ,its so much easier and clearer to read now.For me this has defenitly brought the picture up to a more next gen feel,its not HD but id say its miles better than the regular cable you get.Essential purchase!!!!!!

Sometimes I would struggle to read onscreen text for games because they appeared slightly blurred or out of focus. Plug this little baby in and everything is crystal clear and sharp (colours, pictures, text etc). I bought this based on some great reviews but you always have your doubts. No need to worry!! It's been money well spent. You'll notice the difference immediatley.

My TV must love me now and I love it back.
