I bought this as I don't currently have an Xbox 360 and like any other Xbox 360 before it (the original and the S) it is a great console. I bought it here on Amazon for £170 which if you factor in the cost of Fifa 14 (currently £40) makes this a steal at £130 for the 250GB version and with all the usual Amazon service and guarantees.

If you have a working Slim console already then there is really nothing to warrant purchasing this version (in fact you lose a USB port, an optical audio output and "touch" buttons) but if like me you are thinking of getting your 1st or replacement Xbox 360, would likely buy Fifa 14 and don't feel you need a somewhat excessive 5 USB ports then this 250GB option is an awesome bundle (stay away from the 4GB options).

Don't forget to get another controller as only one is included and I would recommend getting some rechargeable batteries and a USB charger cable so you don't need to continuously change disposable batteries.

Other than that you're good to go!

The latest xbox 360 model (e) in a way is exactly the same as the slim but with a few cheaper parts (Eject "button" on E, touch button on slim, The E version does NOT have an optical out) Im not going to review the xbox 360 as a whole for obvious reasons.

Pro's and Con's of the E version.
- Slightly slimmer
- Claimed to have better cooling
- Quieter
- Price, If Fifa sold (£35, on ebay) the total cost of console would be £135.

Con's -
- No Optical out
- Cheaper build

Now is this console worth buying? a few month before the release of Xbox one/ps4?
YES, This console wont become obsolete for another year or so, games will continue to come out on the xbox 360, just like games were coming out for the ps2 when the ps3 was released, Look at it this way, Do you want to play GTA V? Do you want to play Battlefield 4 or Cod ghosts on release?

If you dont have money to blow id suggest picking up an older 360 version of ebay for £60, and use that for a few months until xbox one comes out, but if you have money to blow then go ahead and pick this up.

Bought this as a present for my son, we'll you could say snapped it up really as it's the cheapest package I've seen as of yet. Delivery was fast and efficient, well packaged and no damage, what more can I say. Would I recommend this to a friend, YES!

My Xbox 360 elite 120gb actually broke down a few weeks ago and when I stumbled across this on Amazon I actually couldn't believe how cheap it was - the 250gb slim was still retailing at £190 at the time.

I placed the pre-order, being slightly sceptical about the price because of the inclusion of FIFA 14 and because it didn't appear in the "Xbox 360 consoles" page on Amazon.

The item then arrived on the day, and it's a huge improvement over the elite: I didn't have a wireless adaptor before so that was a bonus and it's much quieter. I'd recommend any owner of an elite model which is a few years old or more to upgrade to this model.

The game itself was a bonus, and is very good, but the main focus was the console. I'm glad I bought it!

Was much worried about stories of xbox build quality. Always loads for sale on ebay. One year on this still works as new. Graphics and load speed are excellent. All the extras of xbox live are mindboggling so ignored. I just have a fifa addiction now.

Sent for Xbox to replace old one. This is better than the earlier model that I had. Easy to set up, graphic quality is fantastic. Came with FIFA 14, added bonus because my Son can have it for Xmas. Would definately recommend.

I bought this for my son for his birthday as his old x box has given up the ghost of working. This is quiet and small but is far superior to the old xbox. My son did not want the ONE as it does not play his old games. Fantastic box and FIFA is great as always.

What can I say? This is undoubtedly a fantastic value bundle. Plus quick delivery service from Amazon as usual.

As well as a decent spec gaming machine, you get a multimedia player with apps for Netflix, Sky Go etc. and a very handy 250GB of hard drive space. The equivalent PS3 comes with 4GB which means you're likely to spend about £50 upgrading the hard drive at some point.

It's a great option for the casual gamer who isn't quite ready splash out on PS4/ XBox One but still wants the latest games, as the majority of the next gen titles will continue be made for the 360. I was pleasantly surprised by the user interface, quirky cartoon profile avatar (albeit ripped from Wii) and the amount of content available on the store (especially indie and Arcade games)
