Pros: Very cheap and very reliable (built by seasonic) and you get every single watt you pay for, google hardware secrets for the full test. Lots of seperate cables for going all around the tower. I found the cables very long. If not too long. (not a bad thing)
Cons: European plug. its got A lot of cables.....you need to be very tidy cabling. As it is non modular.
People have complained its loud. I cant hear it over my other fans however i do have a bottom mount PSU.
I always check out independent reviews and buy a good branded PSU. Unfortunately I learned this the hard way, cheap PSU's don't last long and can't handle the power needed when doing anything other than Office or browsing the net, even if they are rated with the same Wattage.
The only down side was the European plug on the power cable, but fortunately I already had a standard UK cable that I could use.
Check out the electrical standards for electrical goods sold in the UK, they are easily found online.
I did and I received some money back after complaining to Amazon, which I was glad about... :-D
4 Year later and I'm still using this PSU with no problems, Its ran all day every day for 4 year. I overclocked my CPU to 4.9ghz this PSU as lots of power.
When i was looking for my new power supply, i needed it to meet the Minimum Specifications for my GTX 570 DirectCU II, and the rest of my new Rig.
Important, The 570 DirectCU II need's a, 550W PSU, With a mimimum of 42A on 12V rail, with a 6 pin and 8 pin Connectors to power it.
This 850W power supply as a 12V rail With 72A and 2 x 6-Pin, 2 x 6+2-Pin Connectors. So it meet's the Specifications for my card and more :)
It was fast delivery and packed very well.
