I have built multiple Pc's so have a bit of experience on this

Pros: Very cheap and very reliable (built by seasonic) and you get every single watt you pay for, google hardware secrets for the full test. Lots of seperate cables for going all around the tower. I found the cables very long. If not too long. (not a bad thing)

Cons: European plug. its got A lot of cables.....you need to be very tidy cabling. As it is non modular.

People have complained its loud. I cant hear it over my other fans however i do have a bottom mount PSU.

The first One I ordered worked but made an awful rattling noise so I ordered another and it's powering my 5 SSD's Twin SLI GTX 670 cards with no issues at all, so far so good, i'll come back to this review in the future if there's any issues. (Dated Sept 2013)

the best power supply by far that i had a really good quality product , i got a hard on it was so good .it's nicely finished the cabling was top quality ,only draw back is that it wasn't part modular but for the price i payed i wouldn't expect it to be and the cabling wasn't a problem in my case , thanks xfx for another good product. which xfx would make a damm sticker to go on the case same goes for there graphic cards maybe there too mean,

Quite a nice PSU. Not much to say really as it offers everything you need cable wise etc. Although what the deal is with the EU Cable I do not know! I used my own UK plug from my existing PSU no issues at all. But an EU Cable with a PSU that is sold in the UK?

Bought this after several failures of inferior PSU's and a lot of extensive research. *8 months later after fitting in a black Fractal Design case along with the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard (also black, with white lettering), this works perfectly with my rig, whilst looking aesthetically pleasing in the whole set-up. Very happy with this purchase and the price is very reasonable when compared with similarly powered 'namebrands'.

This is a great beefy PSU that will suit any gamer or other graphic and CPU intensive activities.
I always check out independent reviews and buy a good branded PSU. Unfortunately I learned this the hard way, cheap PSU's don't last long and can't handle the power needed when doing anything other than Office or browsing the net, even if they are rated with the same Wattage.

The only down side was the European plug on the power cable, but fortunately I already had a standard UK cable that I could use.
Check out the electrical standards for electrical goods sold in the UK, they are easily found online.
I did and I received some money back after complaining to Amazon, which I was glad about... :-D

Been running the psu 24 hrs a day for the last month. FEEELL THE POWWWAAAA!!! Got this one to replace a 500W one that couldnt provide enough juice for my graphics card and kept crashing my system. The XfX cured it! Really cool design and almost 100% silent. It took less than ten minutes to fit and had loads of spare connections for any future additional hardware.
No complaints at all.
