Admittedly I'm new to long exposure photography (and indeed photography in general) so I don't really pick up on things like lens sharpness and colour shift unless it's really, glaringly obvious. If I hadn't seen the other reviews talking about the horrific cool colour cast on photos taken with this set of filters that made them unusable, I genuinely wouldn't have noticed - even when I used all three stacked up. Most, if not all, ND filters do have a slightly cool cast so to find it on a set of filters worth £10 isn't really too much of a surprise. I managed to neutralise it easily enough in post-processing anyway.

The holder fits well on the lens and it's not hard to change to a different diameter adaptor either. Considering how expensive 82mm filters usually are, this set really is very good value for money.

I haven't done any in-depth tests, but when all 3 were stacked up the exposure time did increase by around 64x (which it's supposed to) so it is about the right. For those who don't know (I didn't) ND2 means the exposure will double in length, ND4 means it will quadruple etc. so if you stack all 3 up you can lengthen the metered exposure time by 64x (you'll probably need to use bulb mode though).

Overall, I'm impressed. It will fit all of my lenses and does the job nicely although I'm no connoisseur, so you might not want to take my view too seriously.

This really is one of the best filter sets for the price. It really is worth buying this set if you're after the filter holder on it's own, although it's only made out of plastic all of the lens adaptors are made out of metal, it's a shame that they couldn't extend that all the way up to the filter holder itself but it's not really an issue.

The actual filters themselves come in a wallet which is of very high quality and I'm sure you can use them for any future upgrades such as the higher end Cokin P series. The filters that come in this set are plastic and whilst they do have a slight degradation of image quality they really can't be faulted at this price point. I've used them multiple times and again, for the price you can't complain.

I needed a couple of adapters for my Cokin P series filters and came across this filter set on Amazon. The two Cokin adapters would have cost the same as this complete package, so I thought I'd give it a try.

As you will pay over 10 times this price for the same items manufactured by Cokin, my first thought was that the filters must be of poor quality. I couldn't have been more wrong! I did a comparison test of: No Filter versus These filters versus Cokin filters. Results:- The Cokin may be a miniscule sharper, (almost unnoticeable) but has a definite magenta cast. These filters were very neutral and compared well against the unfiltered image. The Cokin Graduated filters give a slightly darker graduation, but again produced a magenta cast.

The other items included: The wallet is nicely made, the adapters are metal and well engineered so they screw in perfectly smoothly. The filter holder is very similar to the Cokin version. All in all this is a wonderful buy and is unreservedly recommended.

Finally, because of their neutrality, I will be using these filters exclusively and retiring my Cokin set.

Went for these as an upsize from my old Cokin A series, and the fact that they had a reasonable review in Digital SLR magazine.
They seem every bit as good as my old Cokin resin filters.
I have not noticed any real colour shift.
Would recommend them for anyone looking for a set of 84mm ( Cokin P size) ND/ND Grad filters.

A great product which sparks creativity. Cant recommend enough. If using it on a wide angle lens then you should probably purchase the wide filter holder (cost a couple of £) and lens shade

Very pleased with this item... I do not use ND filters a great deal so this kit for about a tenner or a cokin lens to filter holder for the same price? Hence I am happy.... And with a 19mm lens with a 11 or above aperture no sign of the filter holder on my d700 full frame. Yes filters are plastic but for £10 worth every penny and shots look great .... So why not try The worst thing that can happen is that you waste £10.....but then you have a filter holder to move over to cokin filters... Great deal no?

I suspect that this filter set wouldn't stand up to frequent use but for occasional use I think that this set represents exceptional value for money. The kit has a series of adaptor rings covering the size of any of my camera lenses. These screw into the front of the camera lens. A filter holder then clips over the adaptor and one or more of the rectangular plastic filters can be slid into the holder. They look as though they might scratch easily so I am taking great care of them. Each comes in a thin plastic envelope. There is no sign of any anti reflective coatings but what would you expect for the price.

Cheap no good for long distance as the pictures are blury with bad fringing. Orks well on things that are 6-10ft away deffo not 100yds plus. But they are cheap and will get you started. The rings fit well and the holder is okay all in all bout 6.5/10
