Bought for an olympus pen epl7 so that I would be able to use the camera and still have the flip screen down when filming - it does the job! Could do with another 1 or 2 washers at the screw as my camera wobbles on the bracket where the screw doesn't go all the way into the camera, but easily fixed!

Its "OK" the rubber grips are not stuck down very well if it gets a little warm the glue melts.
Fixed by removing the grips and "scuffing up" the metal to give it more surface area for a two part mixed glue to attach to

3.0 out of 5 stars OK but with reservations 7 Nov. 2015

The bar itself is fine, but the glue holding the rubber pads to the bracket was utterly useless. I kept the unit as I didn't need to have the rubber pads in place, but I would have returned it had that not been the case.

4.0 out of 5 stars Strong and light weight, but smells awfully. 19 Jan. 2015

Very strong piece of aluminum. Works ok, very light on weight. But rubber smells awfully. After cleaning from strong de-greaser, that rubber still smells bad. It smells from distance of 50cm. I hope eventually rubber will release all the fumes and it will not smell any moore.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very loose assembly. 16 Oct. 2015

The 2 bolts used to attach flashes are too long and flash units are not fixed properly. Assembly are very loose. Who designed this thing? Tried with Youngnio and Olympus flashes. Another few bucks wasted on Amazon.

Solid, wide and good value. Not sure what glue they use for the rubber protector, but mine was sticky and will not seem to set. Might try some different glue if it doesn't set soon. Otherwise very good value for money.
