I already had these 2 albums on a double-CD package from a number of years ago, so not the re-mastered versions; I purchased this to update to the remasters and to get the bonus tracks. I really like that there are 2 individual CDs inside the sleeve, so you can separate them out if you want, e.g. for storing in a CD rack. The remasters sound great to me, more clarity and importantly, the volume is now comparable to modern CD recordings (the old version I had was very quiet so I had to increase the gain in my CD burning software.)

In terms of the music, its a personal thing of course, but every track works for me from both albums. I rate all my music in iTunes from 1 to 5 stars (1=hate, 5=love) and all the tracks are 3 or more. The first 5 tracks from "Busines as Usual" are just brilliant, the only song on the album I'm not crazy about is "People Just Love To Play With Words". In terms of "Cargo", you have to appreciate the hauntingly beautiful "Overkill" and although I don't think the rest of the songs grab you as immediately as the first album, with repeated listening I've grown to like them just as much. In fact, I've worked out the average rating for both the albums from my individual track ratings, and they are both exactly the same at 3.9 (out of 5).

If you like Men At Work, or either of these two albums, then please do yourself a favour and listen to Colin Hay's solo work, some of which is acoustic only, including a lovely version of Overkill. For my money, "Going Somewhere" and "Company Of Strangers" are great albums, the latter has been re-released in a remastered version... And finally, for an introduction to Colin Hay, look at his album "Man At Work"

You may well laugh when i call Men At Work the band of the 80`s but after listening to this double album, which consists their first two albums, im pretty confident that anyone who listens to this double album will agree with my statement.Songs like High Wire, Overkill, Who can it be now?, and, of course, Land down under just show you how much of a gifted band Men At Work really were.Unfairly classed by many as one hit wonders due to the massive success of Land down under, it would be a real shame if Men At Work werent investigated by music lovers.Pure joy from start to finish.Well done Colin and the lads.Very happy with the purchase.
