It is my pleasure to take gossamer threads of ideas and weave them into a richly coloured tapestry of words. live surrounded by the beauty of nature in Hertfordshire and often like to go off on little adventures with my small family. Our favourite place is Somerset, home to the small market town of Glastonbury (the ancient Isle of Avalon). It is steeped in myth and magic, and the veil between worlds in very thin. Together with my delight in all things metaphysical it has provided much rich inspiration for my beguiling spiritual/supernaturally themed books 'Torn from the Heart' and 'Wychwood~Winter's Child'. --This text refers to the paperback edition.

Wychwood, leaves you spell bound, it's setting, it's characters, this book has you gripping the page and your seat as you wait to see if Beautiful Ellis returns to her evil husband. Absolutely spell-binding
A must have novel, truely splendiferous, absolutely otherworldly.
I could'nt do it the justice it deserves in this review, a must read to truly experience the magic within the pages.

Gushing nonsense

From the characters to the prose, this book was so over the top and sickly sweet it made my head hurt. I bought the kindle edition and it was full of grammatical errors, making it very hard to follow at times. There was one sentence that almost made up a whole paragraph and was completely nonsensical. The author also had a few words and phrases that she overused to the point I wanted to tear my hair out e.g. "numinous" and "the gossamer veil". I would not recommend this book to anyone.

Wychwood is a well written and well thought out piece, with an intricate and interesting story. The author has put clear time and effort into creating not only an enjoyable piece to read, but a journey for the reader. I would definitely recommend this book, and look forward to reading more from the author.
