Plot: Some guy called Danny receives a mysterious inheritance and travels with a group of ridiculously attractive friends, to a way out town called Hobbs springs hidden in the west Virginia hills. Upon arriving, he is taken for a tour by a weird couple, who reveal that he is, in fact, part of the family of deformed hillbillys, we've seen in the first 5 Wrong turn movies. Dannys attractive friends are then bumped off one by one in gruesome and horrific ways.

Ok, lets not beat about the bush here, I personally thought the first 2 Wrong Turn movies were great, very well made, devilishly gory and imaginative and quite tense in parts, a treat for most horror fans. Then the franchise was given over to a guy called Declen O'Brian, who made 3 more completely unforgivable sequels. Replacing good old fashioned gore effects with cheap CGI, which looked ridiculous, seasoned actors with Z-list wannabes who couldn't act for toffee and plot lines that made no sense apart from setting up people to die on screen.

So when i found out they'd made a part 6, I wasn't overly bothered about seeing it, until I saw that they'd replaced the director.
I hoped this move would breathe some new life into the series but alas, I was wrong. While there are one or two decent looking effects in the film, most of them are quite poor, the acting is dire, the film, looks and sounds really cheap, the lighting effects are atrocious and makes it look like it's been filmed with someones mobile phone camera, and the story is just pathetic, most of the cast are so unlikable it's almost like they've been lifted from one of the Syfy channels cheap monster of the week movies.

Format: DVD
Danny (Anthony Ilott) unexpectedly inherits the Hobbs Springs Hotel and is eager to meet family he has never know. He takes along with him a group of victims, er ah friends. Seems Danny has been brought back to take over the hotel for the fine young cannibals and to preserve the purity of the blood line to the dismay of his girl friend (Aqueela Zoll).

What's to say? I liked #4 the best especially the opening classical music scene which they have failed to top. This is 80's style slasher, naked girls, kill them in different ways, and eat the body parts. "Fun is the kind of therapy we all need."

The town has a board full of missing people and a puppy. This film sets up for what could be a great sequel if they got some writers.

F-bomb, sex, nudity (Aqueela Zoll, Sadie Katz, Roxanne Pallett, Talitha Luke-Eardley)

These movie are really hit and miss lately but are always exciting even if its only for the bloody kills and gore, I can understand the filmmakers wanting to try and take a different direction each time, wrong turn 6 is not a bad movie its certainly better than part 5 which was my least favourite, the story is about a young guy who inherits a backwoods hotel and takes a group of his friends along to check it out, only to slowly discover some dark family secrets. I guess the plot is similar to the last Texas chainsaw movie, the cast is pretty decent I guess, your usual fodder for the freaks to pick off one by one, the movie has the classic formula that they all traditionally follow of course which is your inventive bloody gory death scenes and there is plenty of good ones with a mix of good practical gore and some CGI, of course as usual there is some sex and nudity it wouldn't be wrong turn without it! The movie has a typical classic open death scene, it slows down a tad sometimes while we get the story then it picks back up towards the end! I can only imagine there will be many more sequels to come yet, I personally love these movies so keep them coming, if your a fan of the carnage then check it out for sure its still a fun slasher!

DVD has good picture quality (Why no Blu-ray release as usual for these horror releases?)
A few very short behind the scenes segments and a cool montage of all the kills from wrong turn 1-6.
86mins run time.

Basically a bad attempt at soft porn. The story is thin the effects are so bad you could have done better wearing a halloween mask from the local corner shop. The original Wrong Turn was great I am a big fan, but this should never have been made. Unless all you want is to see bad acting a stupid plot or Roxanne Pallet getting naked to try and save a crumbling career (which is a shame I think she is worth much more) then give this a go but if you have anything and I mean anything else to do like washing your hair then give this a big miss.

....Do NOT waste your hard earned cash on this movie. Just wait until it comes on TV. This is by far the worst of the wrong turn movies. It deviates so far from what the previous WT films were about, that there were times I actually forgot I was actually watching a WT film. The storyline is weak, and to make up for it there's too much (pointless) sex. The acting is bad and it was actually pretty boring throughout. I don't know what's more shocking. The film or that people have actually rated it 5*s...did they watch the same movie?!
