Product Description

Having earned their status as hometown heroes in the first series, Sam and Phil are blasted back to zero again. This time round the two friends find themselves in deeper, darker danger than ever before. They must make a difficult choice: hide in the dark and be forgotten forever or brave it in a world that doesn’t even think they exist. Their globetrotting adventures take them across deserts, through tunnels, inside prisons, on board planes and trains, as they duck knives, dodge bullets and deal with WMDs. But the cartels, the terrorists and the spooks they encounter have underestimated the boys from Bracknell and their determination to get home for Christmas and reclaim their lives.

James Corden & Mathew Baynton are joined by returning cast members Dawn French (The Vicar Of Dibley, French & Saunders), Rebecca Front (The Thick Of It, Grandma’s House), Sarah Solemani (Him & Her, Bad Education) and co-writer Tom Basden (W1A, Plebs). A stellar international cast join for Series Two including Anastasia Griffi th (Damages), Raoul Trujillo (Apocalypto), John Ross Bowie (Big Bang Theory, Curb Your Enthusiasm), Olivier Award winner Bertie Carvel (Matilda, Doctor Who, Sherlock) and Ray Panthaki (EastEnders, 28 Days Later, Kidulthood).

The second series of this brilliant comedy from James Corden and Matthew Beynton is actually more of a mini-series; consisting of just two hour-long episodes it takes the boys from Bracknell into the wider world, and consequently has a more Bondian, international flavor than its predecessor. Other than that it’s business as usual, with the hapless pair finding themselves alone and (pretty much) friendless, and trying desperately to get home – not easy when you’re supposed to be dead. My only criticism is that there aren’t more episodes for us to savour – although perhaps something that burns this brightly should really only burn for a little time.

The second series is just as good as the the first! The only down side to the second series is that is only has 2- one hour episodes instead of the original 6- 30 minute episodes in series one. James Corden and Mathew Baynton are both hilarious and witty so i award 5 stars:)

Such a brilliant series. Watched it first on TV and had to get the DVDs. This was the second series which bought to complete the set. Two amazing comedy actors, just brilliant, non stop laughter!
