If you like Kate Johnson's Sophie Green books, then you'll thoroughly enjoy this companion novella. Luke is gorgeous, and he knows it - but he's also sweet, funny and coming to terms with the fact he's actually got feelings - specifically those for Sophie. I'd forgotten how much I liked Luke in the books, and this was a perfect gem of a novella which made me smile all over again. This updates some if the context of the original novel eg. refers to DVDs and broadband rather than videos and dial-up, but hits the key points of the original while providing more insight into Luke's motivations. Probably not enough detail to make much sense on its own if you haven't read 'I Spy' and doesn't add a lot of new information to the original story - but it's the prefect sprinkle of icing sugar for fans who've missed Sophie and Luke over the last few years.

I enjoyed this companion book to I, Spy. Nice to have Luke's take on events. Good to read them together.
