I am glad I did not have to wait long for the 2nd book to be released in the series, as I had only read the 1st book a few days prior. I would have been one of the stalking/nagging readers asking constantly when it was going to be released if not.

The book catches up with Jamie and Ellie a few years later, when a tragedy means Ellie has to return back to her home town.

Ellie and Jamie have not seen or spoken to each other since she was left at the airport alone. She doesn't know what Jamie has been upto or where he is. However; the same can not be said for Jamie. He knows exactly where she is and what she has been doing.

Jamie has got a name for himself now and has his own businesses. They were left to him by Brett, his old boss. But his businesses are not all legitimate and danger is always present.

Jamie wants to stay away from Ellie despite his feelings for her but his business decisions/associates mean they are brought together once again.

The story is well written and follows on perfectly from the original. It is told from a dual point of view so it is great to see what they are both feeling and great going on the journey with them.

I must now read more by Kirsty Moseley and will look at her books to decide what to download next.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

Kirsty knows no bounds and has a clever talent of being able to send you on a journey, breaking your heart over and over before she masterfully pieces it back together again.

This was the perfect conclusion to a wonderful duet, each turn of the page had me coming closer to somewhere I didn't want to be ! The end was in sight and I love every turn of the page ! From the shock to the heartbreak, from the soul crushing to the triumphant glee. This book had it all and packed one hell of a punch through your emotions.

However, it was perfection and done with such class, that makes Kirsty one of my go to authors and this Duet one of my top 5 reads of 2016.

Jamie and Ellie have spent the last 3 years apart, a lot has changed and something's have remained the same like matters of the heart. An unfortunate event has Ellie returning to a home she once knew and a man she once loved.

Told in Duel POV, we get to understand both minds and how they both pretend to be ok. But can being back in his home town bring this memories hidden crashing back down to earth. A love as epic as the main characters, there are lots of twist and turns and moments of pure joy and our heartache. But every page was worth that turn.

I adored and fell in love with Jamie and wanted to be Ellie, bring all the supporting characters in and for me this was crafted beautifully and flowed effortlessly. Means all the marks are ticked and checks are crossed !!

Kirsty I adore you !! (Applause)

We finally have an ending to what has got to have been one of the most emotional journeys through a romance novel. The ending of Fighting to Be Free left readers aghast as Ellie heads off into the sunset, without Jamie. The ending was so heartfelt and cruel as we witness Jamie pushing Ellie away from him and the beautiful bond they shared. Yes, they were young but Jamie had lived 10 years for every one of Ellie’s and that is where the magic between the two is formed. Jamie loves Ellie with all that he is and Ellie, despite her mother’s concerns, feels the same way, but sadly Jamie’s past is his future downfall and after being caught following his last boosting job, there was only one journey he would be taking, and that was somewhere Ellie couldn’t follow him to.

Worth Fighting For picks up their story 3 years later with Ellie now living in London. She is happy, or so she thinks. Jamie is all but a distant memory and she’s ready to commit to the man she now loves or does she? Toby is her current love interest and whilst he’s no Jamie, he is special in his own way. He adores Ellie and whilst living and working alongside each other, he sees a long and happy future together. That is until Ellie receives some painful news which brings about her return to the USA.

Jamie is immediately aware that Ellie will be returning home and having spent years numbing himself with work and illegal activities, sets about seeking her out. From a distance, he continues to watch her and despite knowing that she belongs to another, Jamie hopes to talk to her again but when he sees her across the airport, he knows that her current pain is too raw for him to inflict yet more suffering onto her.

***You’re my life, little girl.

First read for me by this author and this isn't normally my typical genre. Stumbled on this.

Didn't realise there was a novel before this, think when advertising maybe numbers next to the novel?

Totally fell in love with one character, he has good traits and not so good traits, to the outside world, he is dark, a black heart, ruthless, dangerous, but under all those layers of protectiveness a, heart full of love and emotions.
The way this author writes makes these characters in this novel come alive, she gives you enough so you know the characters traits and personality, this isn't just on the main characters, but all of them. You understand why each character, acts, behaves the way they do. A few little twists and turns in the novel. The story line flows naturally and pulls you in. I struggled to put this novel down so stayed up all night long.
It's not a fast pace story-line, which is good as it wouldn't suit the story.

Great value for money, a novel that makes you laugh, cry and wished to be loved like she is. Sometimes in life if you love someone, you have to set them free, if it's truly meant to be, they will come back. I believe this and this novel confirmed it for me. Fate may not have a positive way to bring you back, but what is meant to be, will be.
