Product Description

The Great Pyramid Of Giza was listed by the Ancient Greeks as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. At 139m, it remained the world's tallest man-made structure for over 3800 years! These incredible 1000 piece puzzles are a wonder of technology... each piece is roughly 1/4 the size of those in a standard puzzle. But size matters - they're probably twice as challenging! Precision-made with clean-cut pieces and printed on high-quality art paper, the puzzles feature some of the globe's greatest and most memorable sights. 1000 pieces Puzzle size: 420 x 290mm

Top Customer Reviews

By John Fowles TOP 500 REVIEWER on 3 Mar. 2012
It`s a bit tough to rate this as a "toy"; I did a lot of Jigsaws as a child and none were quite like this. The main reasons this is harder than your average puzzle are simple; not only are the pieces significantly smaller, there are only two types of piece, if you understand my meaning. No quirky gaps to fill, just roughly the same piece fitted either horizontally or vertically. It`s not fantastic quality, but if you are careful the pieces won`t get damaged. The colours of this particular picture are very samey and therefore less easy to spot in advance from the box - getting the lighting right is tricky as the pieces have a sheen to them. So I`d say you need a bit of Jigsaw experience, smart tactics and very acute vision! Satisfying upon completion though.

I mainly only buy Ravensburger puzzles for their excelelnt quality of production, but decided to give a go to these small-piece range from Cheatwell, and was absolutely surprised how good it was. My favourite ones are the Pyramids and Machu Picchu. Shame they didn't release more of the small piece puzzles (maybe eve 2000 or more!), cause I definitely would love to get some more :) Even though I usually only buy oceanic/white tiger puzzles, but these monument pictures are just very good, they should release jigsaws with 7 Wonders of the World pictures.

A great puzzle. Small pieces mean it's challenging but good for being able to do on your lap. Very similar colours mean you need good light so a daylight lamp is invaluable if you want to do it when natural light is poor.

I finished this puzzle in one day, starting from 1pm and end by 1am!

not much of challenge as i got this to face one!

result is ±A3 size and quality of pieces are good. at the beginning you may think so many pieces and go for part part but soon you will get the difference and will be easier from that point on.

overal i had great fun with it (thought was short).
for beginner it should be difficult, im doing puzzles for nearly 20 years!

Brilliant for real jigsaw lovers - fiendish, time-consuming - the sands of the Nile......... it's much worse than the baked bean type puzzle!
