I had wanted to know about WW2 for ages before this book and now I know loads. It shows you so much about the war thats why I would recomend it to children that want to know about WW2.

This is a very well written and informative book. I bought it for my daughter's project at School and it was ideal.

Very good book, covers all of the main events and excellent illustrations which , I think, would keep a school age child amused and make it more fun to learn. Not in depth by any stretch of the imagination but it doesn't pretend to be, all in all, a brilliant book for the price.

Snippets about much of what you'd expect the book to contain. (Two sides for each)

I also found the many pictures contained helped me to understand things I am unfamiliar with e.g. various machines, gadgets, uniform, old photographs & newspaper pictures of devastation and such. However, some more informed people may find the barrage of pictures irritating and of no value.

Great little book. Full of facts and pictures. Really informative. Excellent for kids especially. My daughter enjoyed learning about the history the book covers.
