About the Author

It transformed their lives. They developed a passion for good food and health that was both addictive and utterly infectious. The Happy Pear café, shop and brand have become iconic and their food has an ever-growing legion of fans. Their first cookbook The Happy Pear was a No 1 bestseller and has sold over 100,000 copies. Their next book, The World of the Happy Pear, has also been a No 1 bestseller..

It's a great read, and contains a second set of awesome and inspirational, vegetarian (and vegan), healthy + delicious recipes. Have really liked the recipes I've tried so far from the book and would very strongly recommend this and the first book to EVERYONE. My husband and I are not at all vegan or vegetarian but we also like being healthy / having a balanced diet and I found a lot of practical + interesting + delicious options for home dinners that consistently taste great from this book (and from the first book too). A very unexpected downside is that I've started to be a lot less easily impressed when we eat out now that I'm getting used to these recipes because they go above and beyond - they are very thoughtful and use a very careful selection of spices and herbs that taste so good. We've also cut down a ton on our processed food consumption (like ready made pasta sauce) because these recipes taste much better.
My favorite thing in general about the book is that you know you are making a good choice with every recipe, and they will all taste great.
Sections of the book (with a few examples)

- Soups (E.g.Read more ›
Compared to other books I find this one so simple to read and the recipes are easy to follow. In total I've made around 10 meals from this and loved every one.
The recipes in both books are easy to understand and delicious.
