What Mr Dyson does here is touch on the genius that seperates the like of Mr Ashurst from the rest of us, I was a competent to good match angler, but I could sit with my angling budies and set their tackle up just like mine, fishing next to each other with identical bait, but I would always catch more. Why? I don't know, some sort of instinct that tells you when to move a bait, or change the shotting, the line, the feeding, the technique. Why I did it I couldnt explain, and that touches on the sort of thing that Ashurts says here.
The main thing this book is though is dated, but it takes me back to a time when I rubbed shoulders with the greats, and could "do" them on my own waters, if I was lucky. Its nice to see a copy of the book though!
