I feel like his advice on positive living and his own experiences are clear and easy to follow, he has an almost Buddhist approach to spirituality and ideas around our mind/body which has echoes of Scientology but the book is in no way preach-y.
He does also spend some time on hair and make up which is quite vague (basically get someone else to do it) and fashion, diet and photography advice which could be helpful to men, women and what's inbetween. However the clear message of this book is about confidence and self acceptance and a strong work ethic, and even though it's quite short this comes across along with his great personality and outlook on life.
The only downer is that the Kindle edition has some odd formatting. What I assume are sidebars in the book, and pages of photos, break up the main body throughout, so you'll be reading one topic then suddenly you're reading about another, before jumping back, and then photos will break up sections. It's a bit hard to work out if you're reading a photo caption, a pullout quote, or a section header. It's still readable though, but I found it very distracting.
If you can't love yourself. .. This book will help.
