Top Customer Reviews
The good thing is that the author doesn’t just provide suggestions about how you could manage and structure your time, she also gives lots of insight from experience about how to think about what your own priorities are and communicating this to others.
Whether it’s wanting to fit in a hobby, exercise, more time with the family, less time at the office – or whatever it is that you want that is “right for you”.
I think it would help most people toward doing more of what’s important to them and feel entirely happy and confident about the choices required to get there.
It’s also very readable and entertaining – loads of the ideas in it are super-simple things you can just “start doing” – without any need to prepare, plan, commit etc… But there are also worksheets and tables for those that might want to get into the models more seriously.
Work-Life Symbiosis offers lots of practical thoughts on how you can improve things. You may feel that you don't need help - or you may feel that someone else's experiences cannot help you; but my guess is that somewhere in this book there will be a nugget which chimes with you and makes you stop and think.
It's a good read too! Thoroughly recommended.
