Nicely illustrated book by Quentin Blake interesting to read how his artwork evolve and develop in his career. Very well presented. Nice addition to my art books.

Few books have delighted and entranced me more than this treasure! There are nuggets of advice for aspiring illustrators as well as a short history of the evolution of Blakes career and illustrating style for the more general public. The pictures are wonderful (of course) but his writing style is fluid, lucid and endearing. An interesting and funny and beautiful book that should be brought back in print!

Quentin Blakes's illustrations are often seen in children's books especially those written by Roald Dahl. His imaginative, manic and candid style of illustration often captures the essence of the scenes portrayed and it is a pleasure to have a book that compiles the different projects that he has handled giving one a wonderful overview of his inspiring career.

If you are a quentin blake fan you will really enjoy this. A nice and varied mix of text, illustration and other pieces of work by the well know Roald Dahl illustrator. It's a great insight onto other accomplishments, some of which aren't as well known. A great coffee table book, would fully recommended.
