This book is very informative without being boring. It was very interesting to read about the different women who risked their lives to spy for Great Britain. It is a quick and easy read with fairly simple prose - I finished it in a day. I definitely learnt more about the topic, and about female agents I wasn't aware of before.

The book is split into the different stories about each secret agent, however sometimes it repeated facts that we learnt in the introduction or in other stories multiple times. I would have liked to know a bit more background about female secret agents in general before focusing on the individual agents, however this might be personal preference as I like learning about history. I didn't feel like the book was concluded very well, I think it could have done with a chapter to finish, perhaps to pay tribute to the other female agents not mentioned in the book? Again, personal preference perhaps. I would definitely recommend it.

Totally fascinating stories of amazingly brave women but sadly spoilt by the poor writing style and numerous errors which were obviously the result of sloppy proof reading. For example, one date was given as 31st of April !! Although the subject matter is interesting the actual writing is amateurish. Very disappointing.

Great historical account. I was glad to finally read a carefully researched book, without the typical author embellishment that makes so many of them read like romance novels.

Written in detail but seemed amateur. I wished there were more true stories
in the book with a little content.
