Having listened to Iby speak at the Appledore Literary Festival I found her voice came across very naturally in her book. What an amazing, resourceful, courageous, warm and most likeable person she is. I don't know how she has managed to remain such a lovely person following such loss and devastating experiences. Her message to respect and care about others whoever they are because we are all the same regardless of the colour of our skin; our culture; our religion or beliefs. Everyone stayed after the time was up for her talk to listen to her for as long as she was able to speak to us. Thank you so much dear Iby. I shall never forget what you had to say nor the wonderful person you are. I'm so glad to have met you.
This is a time we should not forget, a time that should not be repeated, MPs please take note!
Not always an easy read but a book that will leave you thanking God for what you have.
can scar so many lives. May your God go with you who suffer at the hands of others
