First things first, this is a CLIFFHANGER...and man does it leave you dangling!!
Henry Wolf is the ultimate in alpha maleness but he is also a giant ass. There are times in his and Abbi's story that I really wanted to slap him and shout at Abbi but then there were just as many times I wanted to BE Abbi! Henry had butterflies swarming in my tummy, my heart racing, soaring and then plummeting and not forgetting my thighs clenching together, 'cause flipping heck this book raises the temperture in places.
Henry is opening the latest in the chain of Wolf luxury hotels up in Alaska, Abbi applies for a job on the outdoor team after catching her fiance cheating on her.
Abbi comes from a very religious family in a small town. Her mama thinks that she should just let her (ex) fiance get his 'wildness' out of his system and be there waiting with open arms when he is ready to come back to her. Despite what her mama says she knows deep down that she is worth more than that.
When she stumbles across Henry on her first night in Alaska she has no idea who he is.... he on the other hand knows her. He's a man that knows what he wants and likes to win.
A sheltered small town girl is the last thing that should ignite an interest in Henry but she does and so their 'relationshop' begins.
Professional at first....then more but only in private. He doesn't want anyone knowing about them.....
What are his reasons for keeping them hush hush, innocent or is there something more sinister going on?
Will Abbi be able to let her old self go, forget all the beliefs that have shaped her this far?
So many questions remain unanswered at the end of Wolf Bait...if I had've known it was a cliffy I would have waited till all books in the sereis were published, as I HATE cliffhangers!!
Glad there is not long to wait for Wolf Bite (Feb/March).

Well this read was great, I liked the idea of a small town girl falling for the older boss. Abbi is hurt after finding her fiancé cheating on her. His excuse is poor but what's worse is everybody in her home town still thinks he'll go back to her once it's out of his system but is that what she wants? Unfortunately an overbearing mother and the town gossips are making it difficult for her to move on, so getting a summer job working in Alaska couldn't have come at a better time. Abbi hasn't really experienced anything in life so meeting Henry Wolf opens her eyes to so much. Henry comes across as cold, arrogant and not somebody to mess with but when they're alone he shows her his other side making Abbi start to feel things that she hasn't before even with Jed, but it can't last, can it?
I actually loved this book and was disappointed that the next isn't available yet. The story, plot and characters are good. The descriptions are in depth, you kind of feel like you're there and I wished I was. The chemistry is obvious between Abbi and Henry but it's a slow burn. There is lots of angst, and although it's not a love thing Yet, the sex is hot and you see a side of Henry when he's with Abbi that makes you think he could fall. I would recommend this book but I may suggest waiting for the series as I'm disappointed now that I have to wait.

I thought this book was a little slow to begin with after reading a sample and I was in two minds whether or not to buy it but it had four plus stars and mostly good reviews so I went ahead, and I am so glad I did, as it turned out to be a great read, the characters were great as was the storyline and writing. I can't wait to find out what happens next in Henry and Abbi's story so I'm off to get book 2. This is my first Nina West novel and she's going on my authors to read list. I would definitely recommend this book. Oh, and did I mention the sex scenes are so hot!!!! No? Well they are, ouch!!!

What better way to get away from a cheating fiancé than by moving to Alaska? I hate temperatures below twenty degrees, but even I'd be tempted to visit Wolf Cove if it meant meeting Henry Wolf. Wholesome Abbi applies for a job as a landscape gardener, but due to an administrative mistake-that-wasn't, instead ends up as PA to a hot billionaire. Drool. In between being chased by a bear, spying on him in the shower, and dealing with some interesting roommates, she manages to fit in some hot sex. Like, hot. Really hot.

Sure, this is a trope that has been done many times before, but it's rare that a book sucks me in like this one did. Unfortunately, it did so at approximately 10 p.m. on a Sunday evening, and I didn't finish reading until four in the morning. The conference I attended the following day might have been interesting, but I was too tired to notice.

Anyhow, the yawning was worth it. The storyline was entertaining, I loved the characters and the chemistry between them, and the setting made me want to hop on a flight across the Atlantic. And the writing was as smooth as Mr Wolf himself and beautifully edited.

I can't wait for the second book in the series.

I always get ideas of new and different books on Facebook and I came across wolf bait and I can say I couldn't put it down what a cliffhanger this book is well written and have a bit of suspense before Abigail and henry be comes intimate "which I found in a lot of books "where the character's are full on from the first page so u get bored by time you reach the middle !
Can't wait for book two.......
