About the Author
One of the most recognisable faces and voices in British media - truly a man who needs no introduction - Terry Wogan has been leading broadcaster on radio and TV since the 1960s. Up until his retirement in 2009, Sir Terry's Radio 2 show Wake Up to Wogan boasted a regular eight million listeners (including the infamous TOGs - Terry's Old Geezers), making him the most popular radio host in Europe. Terry Wogan is quite simply a national treasure.

The book is wonderfully written and you can almost hear Terry narrating the prose with his rich baritone.
Fascinating if you are interested in the Irish. Being Irish, Terry feels able to get into the mind-set of his countrymen, and he often makes very insight - and often critical - comments about the less appealing aspects of the Irish. He does criticise the British Empire also, but he remains generous to the English throughout.
I really did miss the late Sir Terry when I read this book.
