I own this DVD and have watched it, and although i think it's a slightly slow start to the series, several key sub-plots are revealed and you can see (well, I hope it turns out that way) how they could go.
The animation is good, not too much cgi, which personally I dislike, but bits and pieces.
There's 4 episodes on this dvd (as usual I suppose) and I think the last one (Stubborn Aesthetics) is the best, but I think this series is one you could sink into the first maybe six episodes in no real order and still understand the way the story is going, but it's nice to have all the little build ups to inter character relationships.
But I guess I'm sayin keep the faith, cos I finished the first dvd and ordered the second, so can't be that bad eh?
