HASH(0x945a79cc) out of 5 stars Skip this and just stick with I am Ozzy 16 Mar. 2011
By James - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This book can be read in roughly an hour. Also the majority of the quotes are to be found in the book titled "I am Ozzy." If you are looking for humor then go with Ozzy's life story as it adds context to his quotes, making them certainly funnier than just reading one liners. If possible do not read this book first. Pick up "I am Ozzy." It's longer, its more personal, and it is funnier.

HASH(0x945a7c18) out of 5 stars Hilarious and insightful 12 Oct. 2010
By An Indy Fan - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I grew up with Black Sabbath and Ozzy. As I got older I moved onto other music, but I always followed Ozzy's career, which is why I got this book. It's both hilarious and insightful. The book offers 13 chapters on everything from Ozzy growing up, being the Prince of Darkness, drugs, marriage and the world in general. Put it together and it's more than a quote book: it puts the life and times of Ozzy Osbourne in perspective. Certainly Ozzy is not a role model, but he is a survivor and this is fascinating reading. Ozzy reminds us that sometimes it's better to laugh than cry.

I notice that Ozzy was signed by Rolling Stone as its "health columnist." In his Dear Abby role he offers gems of wisdom on how to discuss drugs with your kids, sex and marital relations. If you want the whole deal, get this this book.

HASH(0x945a7e58) out of 5 stars Good For Those Who Collect Quotes 2 Jan. 2012
By Darcia Helle - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This book has little substance. It's a collection of quotes by Ozzy, taken from magazine interviews and books. They are loosely held together by snippets of information given to us by the author at the start of each chapter. Some of these quotes, taken out of context, make Ozzy sound far more sinister than he's ever been.

I am a big Ozzy fan but this book bored me. Nothing here is new. Much of this can be found in Ozzy's autobiography - 'I Am Ozzy' - which is far more entertaining.

HASH(0x945ad1d4) out of 5 stars Mediocre reading 29 July 2013
By Dianna Berry - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This book is full of typos. But the quotes from Ozzy are entertaining. The informative filler isn't very informative. Im glad I only borrowed instead of paid for it.

This was a really cool book. I enjoyed myself reading it. I'm an amazon prime member so I borrowed this book for free, but it would have been worth paying for.
