This book is titled "wiring regulations in brief" and at 662 pages it defiantly is anything but brief.
For students struggling to understand the IEE BS7671 regulations this book is a must, it covers the entire IEE 17th edition wiring regulations book and uses real English and non technical language to further explain all of the regulations.
If you want a full technical understanding of all of the regulations for the C&G 2382 course this is the book for you.
It has certainly helped me to understand the regulations in more detail and to unravel some of the terminology used in the bS7671
A novice to the regulations may find this book a little too deep.
The numbering system used in the book is a little confusing.

Bought this book to assist with my understanding of current wiring regulations as I am completing a rewire under the supervision of my local county council building control team with them providing my final certification. I was hoping for a book that would provide some useful diagrams and insights into practical interpretation of the wiring regulations. What you get is a book full of text (which looks like most of it is cut and paste straight from the regulations) with few diagrams that are not a great deal of use. The index is useless too if you are trying to find any particular topics.

Definately NOT recommended ! ! ! This book is going straight on ebay in the hope that some other sucker will give me something close to what I paid for it !

An in depth publication into the world of electrical wiring which does exactly what it says. The numbering system is a bit long winded, but on the whole this is a highly recommended reference book.

This book just lists the rules in the regs (BS 7671) but in a different order. Occasionally it slips in a rule from the building regs to spice things up. Woo hoo.

Save your money and buy one of the books that actually adds value to the regs you already have a copy of.
