A short read but nice and clear information
I try and get out on my hybrid as much as possible but come winter I lose my motivation and my fitness levels
This book has given me quite a lot of decent information I'm glad I purchased it I'm also more inclined to get back out there in the cold now I'm more informed about the dos and don't of winter riding some parts are common sense but if your fairly new to cycling
You will get quite a bit out of this read.

My title say it all really. Rebecca's book is full of sound, practical advice about braving the winter for the first time, but I imagine it's a good reminder for more seasoned cyclists too. Excellent suggestions for products which I found very useful as a starting point. It's not just for keeping up training for the longer sportives - when I start commuting to work again in the New Year, as I am resoved to do(I did it during the summer but have stopped for a few weeks now as winter is a different prospect altogether for me), I shall get a lot of tips from this little e-book.

Would just like to thank Rebecca for this easy to understand, very accessible guide, which has been inspirational this winter. It contains really useful information, and thanks to her nutrition and recovery advice, I think I know where I have been going wrong (ie trying to do big rides while 'watching what I eat.') Lots of useful tips, and written for cyclists like me, who don't want to get bogged down in jargon, but just want to build up their fitness and distance and enjoy getting out on a bike without feeling 'knackered' (pardon my french!) afterwards. Have also downloaded Rebecca's other book for cyclists - hope there are more books in the pipeline!

In her usual style Rebecca lays out some very, very good advice about about riding in the winter. While aimed at beginners, or those riding their first winter at least, it contains some great advice for us who have a few cold miles under our belt. There are moments you say "good, that's what I do" and others where you will go "oh, that's why I felt like that". And you know that when you've spotted a mistake there'll be a fix.

Without giving anything away I learnt there's something else you can do with socks, other than wear them, to help your winter riding!

Read it and get out riding with more confidence and better results.

This is a well written book that contains much clear and pragmatic advice for safe and warm winter cycling. If you are likely to be out in the winter on 2 wheels and just starting out its a must read. Enjoy.

An excellent guide with good advice, and compact enough to take it in.

Some things aren't mentioned such as special winter shoes and various alternative mudguards such as the Crud roadracer, but to name so many alternatives would make for a huge list of items, rather than a to-the-point guide.
