Having spent my childhood playing the London version of the game, which annoyed me as much as all the other London centric things, I was pleased when I found the Manchester version.

As an exiled Manc/Lanc I have always tried to exert my Northern ways on the Southern/London family I married into. When my step-son and partner moved into their first house and I needed a stocking filler for their first Christmas together this was ideal.

Would have been perfect if Old Trafford had been the new "Old Kent Road" and but Sports City was where it should be!

I love monopoly and since moving to Edinburgh was thrilled to find a Edinburgh edition. A great present for any monopoly enthusiast, though my husband is a bit of a purist and wasn't as big a fan as me! I'll admit I would probably change the order of the streets (love the fact biffa have obviously bought a lot of monopoly squares!) but over all this is just great fun, especially for those who like a twist on a classic! I've had the game for over a year now and it's still going strong - not easily broken!

Being from Manchester once the game was open we could relate to the destinations and places on the board. Places such as Trafford Centre, The Lowry, Piccadilly Gardens to name a few. Still traditional 'go to jail' and chance/community chest cards were there and a good explanation of playing the game. There is a fast track version now in the game which helps. Still hours of fun and reminiscing from when I played this when I was young. Recommended.

Everyone loves Monopoly, right? I got this as a gift for my sister. Both Manchester born and bred we moved away to the countryside when we were small but she still adores the city and would love to move back there. She loved this game. She says it's more fun to play than the original one because you can buy landmarks you identify with. I couldn't get hold of this anywhere on the High Street, so when I saw this one I was extatic. It arrived in a large box, well packaged. You would need to be home to take receipt of this item as its too large to fit through the letterbox (stating the obvious there). Great family game with a Mancunian twist - in'it.

Great to play this with our young daughter and see her doing everything I ever remembered doing when I played Monopoly (original) with my Dad back in the day.... you know - trying to con the banker, stopping Daddy putting houses and hotels anywhere and also ALWAYS having the dog as her marker! Nice twist to have another city to conquer! Great stuff....

This was a gift for my sister - it's great, and exactly as we expected.

I won't give all of the Mancunian properties away, but Old Trafford is in there, as is the Trafford Centre! The pieces are the same as the traditional board (top hat, iron, motorcar etc).

A fun and very good quality product.

One of the best editions of Monopoly (my family coming from near Edinburgh). The concept of recognising the different streets and local viewpoints is good and everyone in my family who plays it always want to buy the better areas to build on.
