An excellent book. More information about the best tournament in the world than you can shake a tennis racket at. It is a beautifully presented volume that is also beautifully written. It gives your arms a workout while you read!

Sadly had to return this as I am downsizing and simply had no room for such an enormous tome. However, had a good browse through it, having known many of the players in the post-WW2 years and it was delightful to 'see' them again. A wonderful history of the Club/Championship, crammed with masses of photographs, biographical notes, etc. hhrlsa

I have always loved Wimbledon and thought this would be a good book for me and I was right! It will keep me amused for a long time as it gives the history of Wimbledon from the start to present day with lots of photos of the tennis players and facts and figures. Very interesting and a must for Wimbledon addicts.

Not read the book yet, it is a Christmas present, however, the 2012 version was great, this is the one we wanted though as there is a big sticker on the front indicating it is the updated version for 2013 to include the historic win by Andy Murray.
